KAASM, a technology company headquartered in Seattle, WA released location intelligence platform Locera, in July 2020. RFID support has been added to extend the cloud-native location software package. RFID support rounds out the location and identification feature set and further extends the Locera platform as the hub for location data access and sharing.

How RFID Works
Locera combines on-premises RFID hardware and software running on cloud services to form a complete location and identification solution. Customers attach RFID tags to any number of object types, configure readers/antennas to read the RFID tags, and lastly, log in to Locera to access and view all RFID tag data. Included with Locera, is an extensive API for customers who require integration of RFID data into existing SCADA, MES, and business systems.
